LICSW - Licensed Independent Social Worker Opening Near Washington, DC
Sunbelt is seeking a qualified Licensed Independent Social Worker to assist a local district near Washington, DC. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to provide support and services to students in need. You will be responsible for addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral issues that may impact a student's academic performance.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling services to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies to support student success.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop treatment plans.
Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
Develop and implement programs to promote positive school climate and prevent bullying.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all student interactions and services provided.
Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Job Requirements:

Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution.
LICSW from the DC DOH
