Job Description

Sunbelt is hiring a special education teacher for middle school students in a resource room setting and who hold a Generalist License for North Carolina.

Job Details:
Position: Special Education Teacher - Resource Room
Location: Near Concord, NC
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
Start Date: 8/3/2023 - 5/28/2024

Responsibilities:

Create an engaging and supportive learning environment in the resource room to meet the diverse needs of middle school students
Collaborate with general education teachers to develop and implement individualized plans and strategies to support academic success
Customize and adapt instructional materials to address students' unique learning styles and abilities

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid North Carolina teaching license with a Generalist endorsement
Previous experience working with middle school students in a resource room or inclusive setting
