Job Description

Sunbelt is looking for a full-time position for a licensed Special Education Teacher. If you have a genuine passion for co-teaching ELA and providing pull-out reading instruction in a resource room, we want you on our team!

Job Details:
Position: Licensed Special Education Teacher
Location: Near Willowbrook, IL
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract position

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with general education teachers to co-teach ELA classes and create an inclusive learning environment
Provide pull-out reading instruction in a resource room setting to support students' individual reading needs
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on students' unique abilities and learning styles
Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies to enhance student engagement and progress
Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and provide regular feedback to students and parents

Requirements:

Must be a US citizen
Must be able to work from the hours of 7am-3pm
Valid Illinois State license as a Special Education Teacher
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
Experience in co-teaching ELA and providing pull-out reading instruction in a resource room
Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and evidence-based teaching methodologies
