Job Description

LICENSED SCHOOL COUNSELOR - AUBURN, WA 

Sunbelt is working with a district in the Auburn, Washington area to hire a licensed and dedicated school counselor. The school counselor will provide a range of services including mental health, academic and behavioral counseling. 

Details:

  • Contract 12 month position with high chance of renewal
  • Full time 37.5-40 hours/ week 
  • Onsite M-F schedule 
  • Competitive hourly rates with health, vision and dental benefits available

Job duties & responsibilities: 

  • Provide assistance to students, parents and teachers with problem solving and interventions when needed
  • Provide counseling services to school aged children 
  • Serve as a mental health expert and leader of social and emotional development within the community. 
  • Support student learning and well being 

Qualifications: 

  • Washington school counselor credentials 
  • Masters degree in psychology, education, social work or related field 
  • Experience working in a school setting
