Job Details:
Position: Special Education Teacher (SPED)
Location: Near Naperville, Illinois
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract, Full School Year
Start Date: 8/16/23 - 5/31/24
Caseload: K-22 Students

Responsibilities:

Create an energetic and engaging learning environment for transition students students with special needs
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique abilities and requirements
Collaborate with a dedicated team to foster academic, social, and emotional growth among students
Adapt and modify curriculum materials to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all learners

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
LBS-2 Certification
Special Education Teaching license for Illinois
Experience working with transition students with special needs, preferably in an educational setting
