K-5 Special Education Teacher – Wheeling, IL

Qualifications

IL Special Education License
IL Professional Educator License (PEL)
Learning Behavior Specialist 1 (LBS1) Endorsement
Previous experience working with Special Education students
Must be able to commute near Wheeling, IL

Caseload:

Kindergarten through 5th grade
Mild to Moderate disabilities
Full time – 35+ hours

Responsibilities

Provide special education support in the areas of language arts, math, and behavior support.
Developing and updating IEPs and lesson plans
Collaborate with general education teachers
Supervise Teaching Assistants
Provide home/school communication
