Interviewing Now: Part-Time School Occupational Therapist | August - October

Sunbelt Staffing is working with a school district in the Shelbyville, IN area to find a a skilled OT! This is a very part-time position, and would be ideal for an Occupational Therapist looking to take on a few extra hours. 

Job Details: 

• Interviewing now - the district is ready to hire 
• August – mid-October 
• Part time – 1.5 – 2 days/week  or 12-15 hours/week
• K-12
• 29 students - 6 on consult. Others with service 20-25 min every other week.
• 3 schools - The schools are all connected by a parking lot.

Requirements:

• Indiana Occupational Therapist license 
• IN Teacher's Certification - this can be applied for,  but the OT must have it by August to begin the position. 
• Ability to come onsite

The district is looking for a talented Occupational Therapist to provide standard services to students such as these: 

• Reducing barriers that limit student participation within the school environment
• Supporting the needs of students with significant challenges, such as by helping to determine methods for alternate educational assessment and learning
• Helping to identify long-term goals for appropriate post-school outcomes
