Job Title: Part-Time 1:1 Registered Nurse (RN) - School Setting
Location: Douglasville, Georgia
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time 1:1 Registered Nurse (RN) to join our school in Douglasville, GA. As a 1:1 RN, you will provide essential healthcare support to an individual student with specific medical needs. Your expertise and compassionate care will ensure the student's health and safety within the school environment.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct, one-on-one nursing care to a student with specific medical needs, as outlined in their individualized healthcare plan (IHP).
Monitor the student's health condition, vital signs, and medical equipment as required.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with the healthcare plan and medical orders.
Assess and respond to any changes in the student's health status or immediate medical needs.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, including documentation of interventions, assessments, and communication with healthcare professionals and parents.
Communicate effectively with the student, parents, teachers, and administrators to provide updates on the student's health and address any concerns.
Educate and train school staff members on the student's healthcare needs, procedures, and emergency protocols.

Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in a pediatric or school setting.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
Ability to adapt to changing situations and effectively manage emergencies.

Schedule: Part-time position, 20 hours per week, 3 days a week.
