Interventional Radiology Tech-IR Position in Gilbert, AZ


  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Additional certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) is desirable.


Procedure Preparation and Set-Up:

  • Prepare and set up the interventional radiology suite, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Verify patient identification, medical history, and procedure requisitions.

Equipment Operation:

  • Operate and maintain complex interventional radiology equipment, including fluoroscopy and angiography systems.
  • Ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning properly, reporting any issues promptly.

Patient Positioning and Monitoring:

  • Position patients for interventional radiology procedures, providing comfort and maintaining safety.
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures, assessing vital signs and responding to any changes promptly.
