Job Description

A local district near the Newton, MA area is looking for a licensed Social Worker for an in-home position. This role would be a permanent full-time placement.

The School Social Worker will be working with a caseload of birth to 5-year old’s and will be providing services that may include:

Assessing and evaluating needs of general and special education students
Develop plans based on findings pertaining to short and long-term goals while providing related therapy services
Deliver services in child’s home

Day to Day:

Full-Time, 35-40 hours a week
In-home visits with students
Mild caseload
ASAP- End of School Year

Requirements:

Master’s in social work from an accredited college
Social Work Licensure (will accept LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, LMFT)
Pediatrics experience - EI is preferred but not required
