Job Description
Provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to a variety of healthcare and nursing facilities across the San Francisco, CA area. This contract role offers a dynamic work environment with diverse patient interactions and the chance to fine-tune your radiologic skills while operating advanced portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
Responsibilities include performing and processing X-rays on-site, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images are captured per physician orders. You will also perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to specialists for interpretation. Daily duties involve managing paperwork and billing documentation, maintaining communication with dispatch and management, and ensuring vehicle and equipment upkeep.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Proven experience with mobile X-ray technology and techniques, including digital and computed radiography
- Ability to produce high-quality, clinically diagnostic images independently
- Skilled in performing EKGs (if applicable)
- Comfortable transporting and setting up portable radiology equipment
- Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with staff and patients
- Valid state licensure (reimbursed after 90 days of employment)
