Job Description

Deliver essential diagnostic imaging services by providing mobile X-ray and EKG exams across nursing homes and healthcare facilities throughout Hayward, CA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, autonomous environment where you can refine your technical skills while serving a variety of patient populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment to perform and process X-rays, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically sound images are produced.
  • Conduct EKGs as needed, transmitting results promptly to Cardiologists for interpretation.
  • Manage equipment setup and breakdown within various healthcare facilities.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch, management, clients, and peers.
  • Scan and submit exam-related documentation and billing paperwork daily following protocol.
  • Ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of vehicle and imaging equipment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid state radiologic technologist licensure.
  • Proficiency in performing portable X-ray imaging in varied healthcare settings.
  • Ability to operate digital and computed radiography equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to adapt to diverse patient populations and facility requirements.
  • Capability to handle physical demands, including pushing or pulling equipment weighing up to 100 lbs with assistance from ramps and pulleys.
