This opportunity calls for a skilled X-ray technologist to support a busy trauma and emergency department in a fast-paced acute care hospital. The role involves performing general diagnostic imaging exams with a focus on level 1 trauma patients and inpatient units, providing vital support to surgical teams and emergency care providers. Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of radiologic technologist experience; first-time technologists are welcome to apply
  • Level 1 trauma experience required; preference given to candidates with surgery experience
  • Credentials: ARRT certification and BLS certification required
  • Must be licensed to practice radiologic technology in the state (pending state license not accepted)
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team setting

Responsibilities

  • Perform general diagnostic X-ray exams primarily for the Emergency Department and inpatient units
  • Operate imaging equipment with skill and accuracy, maintaining patient safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with surgeons, emergency physicians, and nursing staff to provide timely imaging services
  • Chart patient exams accurately using Epic electronic medical records
  • Participate in every third weekend rotation; no on-call or floating requirements
  • Work a consistent schedule of either 4 or 5 eight-hour shifts per pay period with variable start times (7:00 am, 7:30 am, or 8:00 am)
