Schedule/Hours:
- Travel contract assignment (specific hours to be discussed during interview)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray examinations efficiently, adhering to ordered protocols and ensuring accurate electronic documentation.
- Prepare radiology suite, equipment, and supplies; maintain a high standard of cleanliness and readiness between patients.
- Greet and efficiently register arriving patients using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Assist with front office duties including patient intake, documentation, and processing service payments.
- Support clinical operations by rooming and triaging patients, documenting histories, and collecting/test specimens (e.g., rapid strep, urinalysis).
- Participate in minor procedures under provider supervision, ensure results from radiology are received promptly, and help restock supplies as needed.
- Contribute to onboarding and training new staff as required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Associates degree from an accredited college.
- Active state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- At least two years of experience in a high-volume urgent care or emergency department is preferred.
- Stellar bedside manner with all ages, strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Proficient with technology and EMR systems; knowledge of EPIC preferred.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to exceptional patient care.
