Job Description

This opportunity is for a Radiology Technologist skilled in X-ray imaging to support a busy hospitals Radiology Department. The position is a 13-week contract located in Anchorage, Alaska. Multiple shifts are available, with one technologist needed per shift, providing flexibility for various schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiologic examinations in a high-volume operating room (OR), emergency room (ER), outpatient, and inpatient settings
  • Use advanced imaging equipment such as GE systems, C-arms (OEC 9800 & 9900), O-Arm, and GE 3D Carm
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to deliver patient-focused, high-quality diagnostic images
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems like Epic and McKesson PACS
  • Participate in rotating call schedules, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays to support OR add-ons and volume surges

Qualifications & Experience:

  • ARRT (R) certification required with a minimum of 1 year of radiology experience; candidates with 2+ years including OR experience preferred
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and patient-centered approach
  • Experience with fluoroscopy and heavy OR surgery case volume is highly desirable

Shift Options Include:

  • 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (Saturday-Monday)
  • 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Sunday-Wednesday)
  • 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM (Monday-Thursday)
  • 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM (Monday-Friday)
  • 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM (Tuesday-Friday)
