This contract position requires advanced echocardiography skills to deliver precise diagnostic information in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract assignment with potential for flexibility depending on department needs

Qualifications:

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program focused on echocardiography
• Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection
• At least two years of recent experience as a registered echocardiography professional
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required
• CPR certification required (AHA & ARC accepted)
• Expertise in performing high-quality, comprehensive echocardiogram studies, including vascular ultrasound
• Proven ability to exercise sound technical judgment and work efficiently both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
• Professional integrity and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and effective time management
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities to provide excellent patient service and collaborate with staff

Responsibilities:

• Independently perform accurate, quality echocardiogram and vascular ultrasound studies to support diagnosis and treatment
• Ensure proper patient positioning, preparation, and explanation of procedures to optimize comfort and clinical outcomes
• Maintain detailed records and enter diagnostic information into electronic health records
• Communicate clearly with physicians and other healthcare staff regarding findings, patient status, and procedural results
• Uphold high standards of integrity, professionalism, and patient confidentiality in all aspects of clinical work
• Stay current on best practices and comply with facility policies, protocols, and regulatory guidelines
