Contribute your expertise in vascular ultrasound imaging within a well-supported clinical environment dedicated to high standards and exceptional patient care. This contract position requires advanced echocardiography skills to deliver precise diagnostic information in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract assignment with potential for flexibility depending on department needs
Qualifications:
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program focused on echocardiography
- Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection
- At least two years of recent experience as a registered echocardiography professional
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required
- CPR certification required (AHA & ARC accepted)
- Expertise in performing high-quality, comprehensive echocardiogram studies, including vascular ultrasound
- Proven ability to exercise sound technical judgment and work efficiently both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
- Professional integrity and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and effective time management
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities to provide excellent patient service and collaborate with staff
Responsibilities:
- Independently perform accurate, quality echocardiogram and vascular ultrasound studies to support diagnosis and treatment
- Ensure proper patient positioning, preparation, and explanation of procedures to optimize comfort and clinical outcomes
- Maintain detailed records and enter diagnostic information into electronic health records
- Communicate clearly with physicians and other healthcare staff regarding findings, patient status, and procedural results
- Uphold high standards of integrity, professionalism, and patient confidentiality in all aspects of clinical work
- Stay current on best practices and comply with facility policies, protocols, and regulatory guidelines
