Job Description
Take the next step in your healthcare career by using your expertise in vascular and echocardiography ultrasound to deliver quality imaging studies. As an integral part of our imaging department, you will perform echocardiogram studies with a commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and patient confidentiality during this contract role.
Schedule:
- Contract position with full-time hours
Key Qualifications:
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program focused on echocardiography
- Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered echocardiographer
- Active RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification required
- Current CPR certification from AHA or ARC
- Strong technical skills, demonstrating sound judgment to perform independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Professional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Well developed organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
Role Responsibilities:
- Independently conduct high-quality echocardiogram and vascular ultrasound studies
- Ensure the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of imaging results and documentation
- Maintain strict standards of patient confidentiality at all times
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, allied health staff, and administrative teams
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while demonstrating professional integrity
- Manage workflow efficiently to ensure adherence to departmental deadlines and quality standards
