A facility in Arvada, CO is seeking a skilled Vascular Interventional Technologist with expertise in vascular ultrasound imaging to support their imaging department. This full-time contract opportunity involves a dynamic schedule with a combination of in-shift hours and on-call responsibilities, ideal for technologists looking to apply their specialized skills in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vascular ultrasound imaging procedures with accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare patients and equipment for various vascular interventional imaging studies
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure quality diagnostic outcomes
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory protocols
- Provide on-call support, including weekend coverage, to assist with urgent imaging needs
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in vascular imaging
- Certifications required: ARRT (R)(VI), ARRT (R)(CV), or equivalent vascular interventional technology credentials
- Proficient in performing and interpreting vascular ultrasound studies
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Schedule:
- Four 9-hour weekday shifts, with rotating days off
- Occasional extended weekends off (four-day weekends)
- Call requirement includes 8-10 shifts per month, with one Friday to Sunday weekend call
