Job Description

A specialized role is available for an experienced ultrasound technologist with a focus in obstetric and gynecologic imaging. This contract position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic women's health setting, performing detailed ultrasound procedures including transvaginal, anatomy, and transverse scans. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, with options for full or half days, over a 16-week period.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound specialty
  • Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • ARDMS certification in OBGYN ultrasound is mandatory
  • Proficient in performing transvaginal, anatomy, and transverse ultrasound scans
  • Ability to adhere to facility-specific protocols and quality standards

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some shifts ending at 12:00 p.m.
  • The 16-week contract requires flexibility in working hours

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough ultrasound examinations focusing on women's health
  • Collaborate effectively with clinicians to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Comply with all health and safety and patient privacy regulations
  • Fulfill holiday coverage requirements, including two major holidays among Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day, plus one minor holiday
