Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment (specific hours discussed upon interview)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic general ultrasound procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient comfort
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare team members for efficient workflow and accurate results
- Maintain accurate patient records and utilize PACS/RIS systems proficiently
- Follow strict infection control and patient safety guidelines
- Help orient new staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Current ARDMS (Abdomen or OB/GYN) or equivalent certification required
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting highly desired
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Current BLS certification
