Job Description

Step into an engaging contract opportunity as an Ultrasound Technologist in Dillwyn, VA. This role presents the chance to apply skills across a variety of ultrasound specialties including abdomen, OB, small parts, and lower leg venous studies (DVT), while contributing to a fast-paced imaging team.

Schedule:

  • 5 days a week, 8-hour day shifts (or as assigned)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ultrasound examinations including abdomen, obstetrics, small parts, and venous protocols for lower leg DVT studies
  • Utilize GE ultrasound platforms effectively
  • Document and chart findings accurately using Cerner electronic medical records
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and imaging accuracy

Desired Qualifications:

  • ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification required
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification
  • Proven competence in general ultrasound and venous protocols
  • Previous experience in hospital or outpatient imaging environments highly preferred
  • Familiarity with GE ultrasound equipment and Cerner charting systems
