As a General Ultrasound Imaging professional, youll play a vital role in diagnostic accuracy and compassionate patient care. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position; specific schedule details provided during the interview process.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- ARDMS certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent.
- Proven experience in General Ultrasound (Abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular preferred).
- Current and valid state licensure as required.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound operation, image assessment, and patient positioning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and strong problem-solving in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality general ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and dignity of each patient throughout the imaging process.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment, reporting malfunctions timely.
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
