Job Description

A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced ultrasound technologist specializing in general ultrasound imaging, particularly in obstetrics and gynecology. This contract position is located near Alpharetta, GA, and offers the chance to work within a womens health setting, performing diagnostic scans including transvaginal, anatomy, and transverse studies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound imaging within the specialty
  • Active ARDMS certification in OB/GYN
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proficiency with a variety of ultrasound modalities, including transvaginal and anatomy scans

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Thursday
  • 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some days ending at 12:00 p.m.
  • 16-week contract assignment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed ultrasound examinations in a womens health practice setting
  • Conduct transvaginal, anatomy, and transverse scans with accuracy and professionalism
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to provide high-quality imaging results
  • Adhere to all safety and procedural protocols
  • Fulfill holiday work requirements, including two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Years Day) and one minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Years Eve)
