Job Description

Support critical cardiac care as an experienced Radiology Technologist in a dynamic Cath Lab setting located in Spring, TX. This contract opportunity involves working in a hospital averaging 120 daily patients within a well-equipped South Tower unit. Ideal candidates hold the required Texas RN license or compact license with ACLS and BLS certifications and bring a self-motivated, team-focused approach to a fast-paced cardiovascular environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Texas State RN License or compact license (required)
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
  • Proven skills in Radiology Technology with experience in Structural Heart procedures highly preferred
  • Familiarity with Siemens, GE, and Philips imaging equipment
  • Ability to handle heavy structural cases, including clinical trials
  • Self-motivated with a strong team orientation
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced interventional radiology and cath lab environments

Location Overview: Operating on the 1st and 2nd floors of the South Tower, this Cath Lab unit runs Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5 pm, with after-hours and weekend on-call responsibilities. The hospital is known for a collaborative culture and uses advanced EMR systems such as Merge to streamline patient care documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging and assist with cardiovascular procedures in the Cath Lab
  • Collaborate with RN and interventional radiology teams for patient preparation and post-procedure care
  • Ensure adherence to unit protocols, maintaining patient safety and quality standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation every other weekend and one weekday, supporting continuous care

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 7 am 5 pm
  • On-call coverage weekends and weekdays (every other weekend plus one weekday)

Attire and Unit Policies:

  • Royal blue scrubs required
  • Follow unit guidelines for patient care, safety measures, and operational procedures
