Support critical cardiac care as an experienced Radiology Technologist in a dynamic Cath Lab setting located in Spring, TX. This contract opportunity involves working in a hospital averaging 120 daily patients within a well-equipped South Tower unit. Ideal candidates hold the required Texas RN license or compact license with ACLS and BLS certifications and bring a self-motivated, team-focused approach to a fast-paced cardiovascular environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Texas State RN License or compact license (required)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
- Proven skills in Radiology Technology with experience in Structural Heart procedures highly preferred
- Familiarity with Siemens, GE, and Philips imaging equipment
- Ability to handle heavy structural cases, including clinical trials
- Self-motivated with a strong team orientation
- Comfortable working in fast-paced interventional radiology and cath lab environments
Location Overview: Operating on the 1st and 2nd floors of the South Tower, this Cath Lab unit runs Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5 pm, with after-hours and weekend on-call responsibilities. The hospital is known for a collaborative culture and uses advanced EMR systems such as Merge to streamline patient care documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging and assist with cardiovascular procedures in the Cath Lab
- Collaborate with RN and interventional radiology teams for patient preparation and post-procedure care
- Ensure adherence to unit protocols, maintaining patient safety and quality standards
- Participate in on-call rotation every other weekend and one weekday, supporting continuous care
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 7 am 5 pm
- On-call coverage weekends and weekdays (every other weekend plus one weekday)
Attire and Unit Policies:
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Follow unit guidelines for patient care, safety measures, and operational procedures
