Job Description

A skilled Imaging Radiology Technologist is sought for a contract position in Lakeport, CA, offering the opportunity to work with advanced imaging equipment and deliver high-quality patient care. This role requires adaptability across multiple modalities, including CT and X-ray, with additional responsibilities in the operating room (OR).

Schedule and Responsibilities:

  • One weekend of call required per month
  • Float between CT, X-ray, and OR duties as needed
  • Utilize Cerner for documentation and patient records
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety
  • Manage time off requests upfront as part of the contract agreement

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certified Radiology Technologist with proficiency in CT and X-ray imaging
  • Experience operating Toshiba CT scanners and GE digital X-ray equipment is preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and float assignments
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient positioning
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, especially Cerner
