Job Description

Deliver high-quality patient care by operating both x-ray and computed tomography equipment in a dynamic imaging department. Youll play a key role in supporting departmental objectives, participating in at least two imaging modalities on a regular basis, and helping to foster an environment focused on excellent medical imaging services.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • Valid California Radiologic Technologist license (CRT)
  • ARRT certification required
  • Fluoroscopy permit preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Experience in general diagnostic radiology procedures; CT experience highly desired
  • Ability to perform pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively

Schedule:

  • Contract position; specific hours and shifts will be discussed during interview

Role Responsibilities:

  • Operate x-ray and CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Consistently perform at least two imaging modalities as assigned
  • Complete general diagnostic procedures, such as x-rays and fluoroscopy (mammography only if assigned)
  • Collaborate with other technologists and healthcare professionals to achieve departmental objectives
  • Monitor patient condition before, during, and after imaging procedures
  • Practice thorough post-procedural care and accurate documentation
  • Ensure departmental compliance with safety and infection control standards
