Job Description

A radiologic technologist role is available on a contract basis in Charlotte, NC, offering an engaging opportunity within a comprehensive imaging department. This position supports a licensed hospital with 373 beds, including ICU and progressive care units, and a busy emergency department with 30 beds. The imaging center performs an average of 175 studies per day, covering inpatient, outpatient, observation, and emergency patients.

Key responsibilities include performing a variety of imaging procedures such as fluoroscopy, general X-ray, portable imaging, and operating specialized equipment in the operating room. The technologist will rotate through multiple hospital areas including the emergency department, OR, and an on-campus rehabilitation facility, delivering high-quality care and imaging services.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Competency in fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and operating C-arm and O-arm devices
  • Ability to work across multiple clinical environments and rotate through different departments
  • Proficient in using EMR (Epic), Radiology Information System (Epic Radiant), and PACS (Philips iSite)
