Job Description

This contract position is ideal for professionals seeking hands-on experience with a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, and working alongside a skilled, supportive clinical team.

Schedule and Hours:

  • Monday through Friday, Days (6:00am4:30pm)
  • Orientation: Wednesday to Friday
  • Start date: Targeting 6/21
  • Call coverage: 1 day per week (weekdays 4:30pm6:00am, weekends/holidays 6:00am6:00am with a minimum 2-hour callback if called in)

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio state license and NMTCB or ARRT(N) credentials (must be obtained before start date; reimbursement available for ODH licensing)
  • Strong skills in diagnostic nuclear medicine, including stress, gastric, gallbladder, bone, parathyroid, thyroid, brain, and renal imaging
  • Experience using equipment such as GE NM830, GE Optima 640 SPECT/CT, and Q-Stress machines is preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team of 3 technologists
  • Submission requirements: updated resume, one reference, Relias checklist, proof of OH license and national certification, plus SSN/DOB and interview availability

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic nuclear medicine scans (excluding PET and therapeutic procedures)
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure optimal scanner utilization and patient care
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards and safety procedures in nuclear medicine
  • Rotate call coverage as needed
