Job Description

A position is available for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a broad range of both routine and advanced imaging procedures. This role supports patient care by ensuring smooth and efficient patient flow while offering assistance to other imaging technologists as needed. Flexibility is essential, as the technologist may be required to work various shifts or at multiple campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to established protocols
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and resolve imaging processing issues
  • Participate actively in quality assurance and adherence to radiation safety standards
  • Maintain accurate logs and complete required periodic testing for licensing
  • Support ongoing education efforts and stay current with technical advances within scope of practice
  • Uphold professional behavior consistent with organizational mission and values

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT or NMTCB required
  • Texas MRT licensure through TMB required
  • Minimum one year experience in specialized nuclear medicine field
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system expected

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
  • Alternative shift: Tuesday through Friday, 6:30 AM 4:00 PM
