Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position with variable shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends as needed

Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB or ARRT-N)
  • Valid and active state license, if required
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear imaging procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
  • BLS certification (current)
  • Proven ability to work independently, with clear communication and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a hospital or large clinical setting is strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Explain procedures to patients while ensuring comfort and addressing questions or concerns
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and support staff for seamless care coordination
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold patient confidentiality
  • Adhere strictly to radiation protection standards and all facility policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and help maintain readiness for regulatory inspections
