Job Description

A skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist opportunity is available for a 13-week contract in Beaumont, TX, offering a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with an alternate shift option of Tuesday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This role requires expertise in a specialized field of Nuclear Medicine and proficiency with EPIC EMR systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
  • Support imaging technologists across departments to ensure efficient patient workflow.
  • Provide troubleshooting for basic equipment maintenance and image processing challenges.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain compliance with radiation safety protocols.
  • Handle radionuclides and pharmaceuticals in accordance with safety standards.
  • Maintain daily logs and conduct required periodic testing as mandated by licensing authorities.
  • Engage in ongoing education to stay current with technical advances within your licensure scope.
  • Exhibit professional behavior and communication aligned with organizational values and culture.
  • Flexibility to work additional shifts or at different campuses as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Active BLS Certification.
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT or NMTCB.
  • Texas MRT licensure by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
  • Minimum of one year experience in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is required.
