Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-N preferred)
- Active, unrestricted state license (if applicable)
- Proven experience operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment and handling radiopharmaceuticals
- Knowledge of safety protocols regarding radiation use and disposal
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare providers and support patients through procedures
- Competency in updating electronic health records and documenting imaging results accurately
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety regulations and physician directives
- Perform a variety of diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures and ensure image quality
- Monitor and ensure the well-being and comfort of patients before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, verifying safe operation at all times
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to interpret imaging results and determine next steps for patient care
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging data, and procedure details
- Comply with all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of hazardous materials
