Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-N preferred)
• Active, unrestricted state license (if applicable)
• Proven experience operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment and handling radiopharmaceuticals
• Knowledge of safety protocols regarding radiation use and disposal
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare providers and support patients through procedures
• Competency in updating electronic health records and documenting imaging results accurately

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety regulations and physician directives
• Perform a variety of diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures and ensure image quality
• Monitor and ensure the well-being and comfort of patients before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, verifying safe operation at all times
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to interpret imaging results and determine next steps for patient care
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging data, and procedure details
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of hazardous materials
