Key Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT (MRI) certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or MRI program
• Proficient in MRI imaging modalities and procedures
• Experience with current MRI technology and safety protocols
• Strong patient care skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other imaging staff
• Flexibility and reliability in a fast-paced clinical setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare, position, and monitor patients to obtain accurate MRI scans according to provider orders
• Operate MRI equipment while adhering to safety guidelines and departmental protocols
• Recognize and respond appropriately to patient distress or adverse reactions
• Complete patient documentation and maintain accurate records in the imaging system
• Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of MRI equipment and working areas
• Provide clear communication to patients regarding procedures, addressing concerns or questions
• Collaborate with medical staff to deliver prompt and effective diagnostic services
