Job Description

Perform magnetic resonance imaging scans with precision and professionalism in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for an MRI Technologist skilled in operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients accurately on the exam table to ensure quality imaging.
  • Operate MRI equipment under the direction of the physician, following all safety protocols.
  • Explain procedures to patients clearly to provide comfort and understanding.
  • Monitor patients throughout the scan to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Review and assess computer-generated images for diagnostic clarity and completeness.
  • Maintain safety standards using appropriate protection devices for patients and staff.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Proficient in MRI imaging techniques and operation.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to MRI procedures.
  • Effective communication skills to explain processes to patients.
  • Ability to assess image quality and make decisions accordingly.
  • Experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
  • Certification as an MRI Technologist is required.
