Job Description

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced MRI technologist skilled in completing comprehensive MRI studies across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room settings. The role requires proficiency in operating MRI equipment, preferably GE systems, and delivering high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of acute care MRI experience; 1.5 years accepted if experienced with GE equipment
  • Certified in MRI through ARRT (preferred) or ARMRIT, with ARRT(R)(MR) credential or eligibility
  • Current BLS certification
  • Comfortable working with EPIC electronic health records system
  • Ability to handle full spectrum MRI procedures, excluding cardiac MRI
  • Adaptable to on-call responsibilities, including one 8.5-hour day shift and one 24-hour weekend shift every five weeks
  • Professional appearance with black scrubs as dress code

Schedule & Hours:

  • Mid shift schedule, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
  • Includes on-call duties as outlined above
  • Contract position with an auto offer for 13 weeks

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct MRI exams for diverse patient populations, including inpatients, outpatients, and emergency cases
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality imaging and patient care
  • Maintain patient records using EPIC charting accurately and efficiently
  • Adhere to safety protocols and department policies for imaging procedures
  • Provide excellent patient communication and support throughout the imaging process
