Advanced MRI Technologist opportunity located in Edison, NJ on a 13-week contract. This role involves caring for in-patient, outpatient, and emergency room patients while performing a full spectrum of MRI studies, excluding cardiac MRI. Candidates with experience on GE equipment and EPIC charting will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive MRI procedures across various patient settings including acute care environments.
• Maintain accurate and timely charting using EPIC.
• Collaborate effectively with medical personnel to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations: one 8.5-hour day shift per week and one 24-hour weekend shift approximately every five weeks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years acute care MRI experience; candidates with GE equipment experience may qualify with 1.5 years of MRI experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ARRT certification preferred; alternatively, ARMRIT certification with ARRT (R) and (MR) eligibility.
• Ability to perform full MRI study spectrum; cardiac MRI not required.
• Comfortable wearing black scrubs.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records preferred.
• Willingness to work mid-shift hours: 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, five days per week.
