Job Description

This traveling opportunity seeks a skilled Mammographer with expertise in imaging and mammography to support a healthcare facility in Richmond, CA. The position focuses on daytime shifts, primarily 8 or 10 hours long, with some potential Saturdays. Candidates must be certified with CRT(M) and ARRT(M) credentials, and training in tomosynthesis (Tomo) is required. Additional experience with 3D stereo imaging is considered a plus.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current CRT(M) certification
  • ARRT(M) certification mandatory
  • Tomo training required
  • 3D stereo training preferred
  • Fully vaccinated prior to assignment submission

Location: Richmond, CA, offers a blend of urban living and access to natural landscapes, providing convenient access to San Franciscos metropolitan attractions and outdoor activities in the Bay Area.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammographic imaging according to hospital protocols
  • Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging with attention to patient comfort and safety
  • Operate advanced imaging technology including tomosynthesis
  • Collaborate with radiology team for accurate documentation and patient care
  • Be available for up to 36 hours of call at no additional cost during the assignment period

  • Hospital may cancel up to three shifts within a 13-week contract period
