Job Description

A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to serve a busy medical center in Waterbury, CT. This contract position offers a chance to advance your skills in a dynamic environment, working with cutting-edge imaging technology to assist in critical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment for interventional radiology procedures, operating imaging technology to capture high-quality images, collaborating with physicians during interventions, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout exams and treatments. Attention to detail and adherence to stringent health and safety protocols are essential.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Every Other Weekend (EOWBLS) coverage required

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with specialization in Interventional Radiology preferred
  • Proven proficiency with imaging and IR technology
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient care standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
