Job Description

A healthcare organization in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a skilled Imaging Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician to support their medical team. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology and contribute to patient care through precise diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain imaging equipment specific to interventional radiology.
Assist physicians during IR procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Prepare and position patients for imaging exams and procedures.
Follow established protocols for image acquisition, quality control, and radiation safety.
Collaborate with clinical staff to support efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures and patient care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Certification or licensure as an Imaging or Radiologic Technologist with IR specialization.
Experience performing interventional radiology imaging procedures.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, imaging techniques, and radiation safety standards.
Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Excellent communication skills and patient-focused approach.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
