Job Description

Step into a dynamic role in Interventional Radiology where your expertise will make a critical impact on patient care. This 13-week contract assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a busy surgical suite with a diverse caseload, including outpatient, inpatient, and trauma cases. Enhance your skills using state-of-the-art Siemens imaging systems and Epic EMR technology in a fast-paced environment handling 6075 cases per day.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • ARRT certification required
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in hybrid IR/cath lab settings
  • Proficient with procedures such as TAVR, AAA, angiograms, fistula revisions, and endarterectomies
  • Skilled in assisting with adult and select pediatric cases (appendectomy, cholecystectomy)
  • Previous acute care experience preferred; first-time travelers welcomed

Location: This assignment is located near Oak Lawn, Illinoisa suburban area offering a comfortable lifestyle while remaining just a short drive from Chicagos vibrant downtown. Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour day shifts per week

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with complex interventional radiology procedures in a hybrid room setting
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to provide seamless patient care
  • Utilize advanced imaging equipment for accurate diagnostics and interventions
  • Maintain compliance with all safety and quality protocols to ensure optimal outcomes
