Desired Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (RT)(R) certification; IR credential preferred
- State licensure (or eligibility) as required
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Previous experience in Interventional Radiology as a technologist
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Familiarity with a range of IR procedures and related equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently perform and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other techs to ensure safe, effective patient care
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment with attention to safety and quality standards
- Accurately document procedural data and ensure compliance with facility protocols
- Deliver compassionate support and education to patients and their families throughout procedures
