Job Description

An opportunity is available for an Interventional Radiology Technologist with solid experience in vascular and biliary procedures in Arvada, CO. This contract role offers a dynamic day shift schedule and the chance to work with advanced Siemens IR imaging equipment at a well-established medical center.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • VI (Vascular Interventional) Certification is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IR Technologist
  • Proficiency with Siemens Interventional Radiology (IR) equipment preferred
  • Skilled in performing complex procedures such as Y-90 therapy, lines placement, biliary interventions, biopsies, and vascular procedures
  • Strong accountability, a positive attitude, and a collaborative team spirit

Work Schedule:

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Call Requirement: One weekday and one weekend call per month

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate Siemens IR equipment during interventional radiology procedures
  • Assist physicians with complex biliary, vascular, and biopsy procedures while adhering to safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate documentation within Meditech EMR system
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of technologists to ensure high-quality patient care
