Advance your career in imaging as a skilled IR Tech, playing a key role in delivering cutting-edge patient care. This contract position centers on interventional radiology procedures utilizing advanced imaging technologies in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 am 3:30 pm
- Call required; rotation details to be discussed in the interview
Key Qualifications:
- Proficient in performing a range of IR procedures
- Experience with fluoroscopy and ultrasound in interventional settings
- Previous hands-on work with Siemens, GE, and Biograph imaging equipment
- Appropriate state certification and ARRT credentials in Radiology (or eligibility)
- Strong communication skills and reliable attention to patient safety
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with clinical teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct and assist with interventional radiology procedures using fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance
- Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality standards are met for each procedure
- Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor patients during procedures, providing reassurance and accurate technical support throughout
- Practice and reinforce stringent infection control and safety protocols
- Contribute to record-keeping, documentation, and patient education
