A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Cardiovascular Sonographer/Echo Tech to support advanced imaging services within a dedicated ultrasound unit. This contract position offers a structured schedule with a focus on high-quality echo, vascular, and bubble study procedures.
Responsibilities include performing echocardiograms, vascular imaging, and bubble studies, managing a patient load of approximately 45 to 55 cases daily. The role utilizes Meditech electronic medical records and requires adaptability to float occasionally to a nearby general unit. Candidates will work closely with a collaborative team to deliver diagnostic excellence and patient-centered care.
Shift options:
- 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Weekend commitment: Every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
Holiday requirement: None
Required qualifications and experience:
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification mandatory
- Proven adeptness in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound techniques
- Comfort and experience with bubble studies preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
- Travel experience is a beneficial asset
Additional role details:
- Gray scrubs will be provided
- Blocked scheduling accommodations will be considered but cannot be guaranteed
