A skilled Echocardiography Technologist is needed for a contract position in Caldwell, OH, specializing in cardiovascular ultrasound imaging. This role involves performing a high volume of patient studies daily, including bubble studies, echo studies, and vascular studies, averaging 45 to 55 patients per day. Candidates must be prepared to contribute their expertise in a fast-paced clinical environment with advanced imaging technology and EMR systems.
Schedule:
- Shift options: 11:00 AM 7:00 PM or 12:00 PM 8:30 PM
- Weekend availability: Every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
- No holiday work required
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification is required
- Experience working with cardiovascular sonography and echocardiography
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
- Travel experience is a plus
- Ability to float to nearby locations as needed
- Comfortable managing a patient load of 45-55 daily
Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret cardiovascular ultrasound procedures, including bubble and vascular studies
- Ensure accuracy and quality of diagnostic images
- Maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols while wearing provided gray scrubs
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to support diagnostic and treatment processes
