Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time days
- Participation in call rotation
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited radiology technology program
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State Department of Health licensure
- Flexibility for overtime and on-call responsibilities
- Understanding of age-specific needs, particularly for pediatric and geriatric populations
- Active BLS certification
- Commitment to maintaining continuing education requirements set by ARRT
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and general radiographic procedures, supporting physicians in diagnosing injuries and illnesses
- Collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to ensure quality care
- Maintain safety and cleanliness throughout the imaging environment
- Handle patient information with strict confidentiality and professionalism
- Comply with all hospital policies, including infection control, fire safety, and hazardous waste protocols
- Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to support departmental and organizational goals
- Participate in ongoing performance improvement initiatives
- Take on additional duties as assigned
