Job Description

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time days
  • Participation in call rotation

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited radiology technology program
  • Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • State Department of Health licensure
  • Flexibility for overtime and on-call responsibilities
  • Understanding of age-specific needs, particularly for pediatric and geriatric populations
  • Active BLS certification
  • Commitment to maintaining continuing education requirements set by ARRT

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and general radiographic procedures, supporting physicians in diagnosing injuries and illnesses
  • Collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to ensure quality care
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness throughout the imaging environment
  • Handle patient information with strict confidentiality and professionalism
  • Comply with all hospital policies, including infection control, fire safety, and hazardous waste protocols
  • Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to support departmental and organizational goals
  • Participate in ongoing performance improvement initiatives
  • Take on additional duties as assigned
