Job Description

Step into a vital role in medical imaging where your expertise as a CT/PET Technologist will help provide swift and accurate diagnoses for patients and support leading-edge care. Schedule/Hours:

  • 13-week contract

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current ARRT certification (CT)
  • Active BLS certification
  • At least 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
  • Proficiency in IV starts, administering contrast, and use of PACS systems
  • Comfortable imaging Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, and Musculoskeletal regions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT scans using advanced imaging platforms
  • Accurately position patients and verify equipment calibration for consistent imaging results
  • Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to establish appropriate imaging protocols
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures and patient records
  • Safeguard patients and staff by strictly adhering to radiation safety protocols
  • Assess equipment functionality and report maintenance needs proactively
  • Offer empathetic guidance and reassurance to patients throughout the imaging process

Unit Details: Work within a fast-paced department featuring Trauma 1 and Stroke 1 programs, handling a high volume ER and a range of advanced exams such as Coronary CTA and TAVR.
