Job Description

A travel opportunity is available for a CT Technologist skilled in imaging to support a busy hospital setting in Brookston, IN. This role involves working in a trauma-informed, hospital-based environment specializing in CT scans using advanced equipment such as Canon and Hitachi scanners, along with Acist Injectors. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with additional weekend call rotation responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT imaging procedures, including trauma and stroke patient scans
  • Utilize strong IV skills to administer contrast safely
  • Operate Canon and Hitachi CT scanners and associated equipment
  • Manage cardiac CTA and other advanced procedures as required
  • Collaborate with ED, inpatient, outpatient, and trauma teams to ensure timely imaging and diagnosis

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certified Radiologic Technologist with ARRT registration in CT (RT(R)(CT)(ARRT))
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 3 years of hospital-based CT imaging experience
  • Experience working with trauma patients and strong IV placement skills is essential
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR system preferred

Location: Situated near Brookston, IN, this healthcare facility serves a 250-bed hospital catering to emergency, inpatient, outpatient, trauma, and stroke patients. The site features modern imaging equipment and maintains a professional environment with a scrub dress code in charcoal grey. Parking is available at the north entrance, with convenient access for on-time shift starts.
