Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract role is based in Brevard, NC, and offers a focused 13-week assignment, providing hands-on experience with advanced imaging technologies across multiple modalities.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Weekend Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine CT and CT angiography (CTA) examinations with precision and adherence to safety protocols
  • Operate and maintain GE X-ray units and CT scanners efficiently
  • Assist in fluoroscopy and general X-ray imaging as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient care needs are met during imaging procedures
  • Utilize PACS software, including Cerner and Phillips systems, to manage and transfer imaging data (experience preferred but not mandatory)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)(CT)) certified by ARRT
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Proven experience in routine CT and CTA exams
  • Familiarity with GE imaging equipment
  • Working knowledge of PACS software applications is a strong asset
