Job Description
Step into a vital role supporting diagnostic services as an experienced Imaging Technologist specializing in CT and PET modalities. This contract opportunity provides the chance to deliver patient-centered care and advanced imaging procedures in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Schedule:
- Saturday: 7:00 am 5:00 pm
- Sunday: 6:30 am 8:00 pm
- Monday: 6:30 am 8:00 pm
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in both CT and PET imaging techniques
- Current ARRT certification (CT and/or Nuclear Medicine/PET)
- State licensure in diagnostic imaging, as applicable
- Experience with Siemens Espree and Altea 1.5T MRI systems preferred
- Strong understanding of radiation safety practices
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care
- Capacity to work varied weekend and extended weekday shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently operate CT and PET scanners to acquire high-quality images for interpretative review
- Accurately position patients and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the procedure
- Follow strict imaging protocols and maintain thorough documentation
- Coordinate patient flow efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to support timely, accurate diagnoses
- Conduct daily machine checks and assist with routine quality assurance tasks
